Assitant Store Manager (Brick Lane)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an assistant manager to join one of our London stores.

The main objective of the role is to support the store manager to manage all store operations, customer service and lead a dynamic team to drive the store forward and deliver outstanding results..

You will be a strong inspirational leader with excellent floor presence.
You will have the ability to Inspire an innovative level of customer service that represents the Rokit ethos.  

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive sales and profitability alongside the store manager
  • Recruit, train and develop a team
  • Coach and feedback in the moment
  • Conduct daily meetings to inspire and motivate your team whilst communicating necessary information
  • Maintain a positive working environment promoting employee wellbeing
  • Organise and prioritise projects
  • Delegate effectively
  • Operational tasks and daily store set-ups completed in a timely manner
  • Manage daily shipment and replenishment processes.
  • Inventory management - conducting weekly stocktakes
  • Compliant with company policy and procedures and health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain vigilance and improve loss prevention policies & procedures
  • Analyse and report company performance KPI’s
  • Work alongside store manager and company's visual team to react to trends and make commercial decisions
  • Manage and maintain store standards
  • Keep up to date with current market trends
  • Create and manage relationships in the community

 

SKILLS

  • Outstanding customer service skill
  • Experience of people development i.e Development plans, Performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ability to recognise talent
  • Great communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment
  • Proficient in the use of Google docs and microsoft software
  • Able to work calmly and professionally under pressure

  • Experience in a management or supervisory role working in a fashion retail environment
  • Must be a motivated individual with the ability to create a fun, vibrant atmosphere for both the team and our customers
  • Proven ability to drive and increase sales KPI's
  • A hands on manager who doesn’t mind getting their hands dirty and leading by example
  • Proven record of recognising and developing talented individuals
  • Have a passion and understanding for vintage fashion, culture and lifestyle.
  • Flexible and able to work weekends.
  • Want to make a positive difference to the fashion industry
